2017 Nissan Rogue Sport

The 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport cuts off more than a foot in overall length and over 200 lbs. in weight when compared to the regular Rogue. Is this smaller version of the Rogue fit to be called a sport? 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport side angle (Courtesy Motor Trend) The Rogue Sport actually has a smaller engine than the regular Rogue. The Rogue Sport has a 2.0 liter four-cylinder that produces 141 horsepower and 147 lb-ft of torque. The Rogue has a 2.5 liter four-cylinder rated at 170 hp and 175 lb-ft. Strangely enough, the Rogue actually gets 1-2 mpg better than the Rogue Sport. Usually a smaller engine with less power would produce better fuel economy than its larger, more powerful counterpart- not to mention that the Sport weighs a couple hundred pounds less. 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport interior.
